Finally the Cross Country

After numerous postponment dates the cross country finally arrived and Miss T got to wear her gumboots.

I am very proud of all my children who gave the cross country a go!

DISCO TIME!

On Friday night Lower Moutere had a school disco.

The Juniors had so much fun!

Miss T and Room 3 loved dancing to the music and having the chance to dress up.

Wow! On Friday I got Benjamin Bear. When Benjamin Bear and I got home I went to the Disco but I forgot Benjamin Bear.

The next day I went to Bayley’s house with Benjamin Bear. We played on the tramp and Benjamin did a forwards flip and he landed it!

It was Jack’s birthday today and we had cake! It was fun.

On Friday I got to take Benjamin Bear home on the bus. When I got home I made a little bed for him. Later in the day we had Subway for tea. After tea we all went to bed.



In the morning we all had breakfast then I went to Ebon’s to play. When I got there we played tag. Later in the day we had lunch and after we played Mums and Dads.

What a surprise...

We had Harold visit us during our Junior Assembly.



He was so tall he couldn't fit through our doors, he had to bend down to get in.



We can't wait to learn with him next Monday and Tuesday!

What a trip!

We arrived at school all dressed up in our olden day clothes. We got a big group photo with Room 1 and Room 2. We were all very excited!

Our next stop was Founders Park. We were really hungry at this stage as we hadn't had any morning tea but we decided to hold off as we got offered a ride on their train. Food could wait...

After the train ride we finally had some food and a catch up with Room 1 and Room 2. Then they left to Bishop's School and we stayed at Founders Park and had a look around the village in our groups. We answered some questions along the way. We even had a film crew stop us to film us for their documentary, EXCITING!

Myah's Dance Competition

This is Myah with the certicates she received in the Easter dance competitions. She got commended for both her dances and was also awarded with an encouragement award for each dance.

Well done Myah, we are all very proud of you.

Welcome back to Term 2

Welcome back to term 2 Room 3. I hope you all had a safe and happy holiday.

We have a very busy term ahead of us.

We will be moving back into our newly renovated classroom in a couple of weeks, in the meantime we will enjoy hanging out in the hall.

We have our trip to Bishop's School and Founders park this Wednesday to wind up our topic on School 100 years ago.

We have the cross country, school disco, school photo competition and lots more exciting things to look forward to.

I look forward to another exciting term filled with lots of fun moments, hard work and enjoying each others company.

This is our classroom with everything taken out of it. No sign of Room 3, poor Benjamin feels sad but he is excited to see the changes ahead...

On Friday evening I made Benjamin Bear a bear sized bed from shoe boxes for him to sleep in.

On Friday afternoon I drew this picture of Benjamin Bear.



On Saturday Benjamin and I played on the scooters. Then we helped Mum with some gardening. Later on that day we took Benjamin out in our big, blue boat. We had fish and a BBQ tea on the boat. Benjamin and I caught a little fish called a herring.






On Sunday morning Benjamin and I did some paintings with my easel. Benjamin and I drew a car. In the afternoon we had fun playing swing ball together and bouncing on the tramp.
