In week 2 Maia was awarded star of the week for getting on with her work and always listening to instructions. What a great start to the term Maia.
Maia wrote a fantastic story in Benjamin Bear's adventure book and Room 3 would like to share it with you.

Maia's Adventure with Benjamin Bear
On Saturday we went to Kina on our bikes with Benjamin in the backpack. He liked riding with Mummy, Eddie, Oma, Roger and me.
I made a special bed just for him and Pinky in our tent.
He went with me and he went on a treasure hunt at Yaz's Birthday. We got to have lots of lollies.
We found a fairy in the forest. We made a little volcano and when we got to the end we made a big one.
Thank you Benjamin Bear for coming to my house.

We all loved having Benjamin Bear at our house for the weekend, especially Eddie who liked to copy what Maia did with his own bear. I loved your blog site and was good to see some other things you do other than swimming.

Hi Maia and Room 3. Roger and I loved the bike ride to Kina but it made us puff a lot - and I have got sore knees today!! You were really kind and helpful when you came back to give us a help and a push. We thought the yummy iceblock and the big romp in the sea at the end were the BEST bits of our adventure.
We hope you ask us out again on one of your aventures. This weekend we might need a little rest.
We are so proud of you, star of the week and it was real neat to meet Benjamin Bear.

Wow, what a weekend Benjamin Bear had Maia! He is lucky to have such a great class of children as friends - I look forward to reading more of his adventures.
