Benjamin Bear goes home with ....

Arlen C.

Well done Arlen. You were chosen to take Benjamin Bear home because you are a great listener and for thinking carefully about everything you do. Well done.

This is what Arlen got up to with Benjamin Bear

***********************************************

On Saturday we went to the river for a swim. Benjamin stayed on the rocks because he thought there were man eating sharks in the river. We swam to some rocks and jumped into the current.

On Sunday we woke up very early to get to the Weetbix Tryathlon. Benjamin wanted to go for a swim but the Police said the beach was closed because of a Tsunami threat. There were 1400 kids racing. Benjamin saw Samuel (my brother) first. After that we went to Burger King. We had a good weekend.

Benjamin Bear goes home with ....

Well done Myah L!

You were chosen for your beautiful presentation in everything you do. You are a great listener and you always try your best. Well done. Miss T

Here is what she got up to with Benjamin Bear

********************************************

On Saturday Benjamin Bear got to come to Ebon's birthday with me.

First we went to Hot Mumma's for lunch, next we went to the playground. Then we went to the movies and saw Fantastic Mr Fox. Then we went to the Wharehouse and got a movie and went home to Ebon's house and played on the bikes. Then we played mums and dads. The next day we watched Alvin and the chipmunks and then my Dad picked me up.

After lunch we went to my Aunty Vanessa's house. She lives on a farm. One of her cows had a baby calf that was one day old. Benjamin Bear and I got to pat and cuddle the baby calf. She was so cute!

We had a great weekend.

STAR of the week: Maia A

Every Friday someone is awarded a special award for being 'star of the week'. This lucky person gets to take our class teddy home for the weekend and have lots of fun together.

In week 2 Maia was awarded star of the week for getting on with her work and always listening to instructions. What a great start to the term Maia.

Maia wrote a fantastic story in Benjamin Bear's adventure book and Room 3 would like to share it with you.

Maia's Adventure with Benjamin Bear

On Saturday we went to Kina on our bikes with Benjamin in the backpack. He liked riding with Mummy, Eddie, Oma, Roger and me.

I made a special bed just for him and Pinky in our tent.

He went with me and he went on a treasure hunt at Yaz's Birthday. We got to have lots of lollies.

We found a fairy in the forest. We made a little volcano and when we got to the end we made a big one.

Thank you Benjamin Bear for coming to my house.
